About PCC Library Catalogs
PCC provides two library catalogs to help you with your research and schoolwork. PCC WorldCat is a powerful tool that helps you discover materials at PCC, Summit (a consortium of libraries in Washington and Oregon) and libraries worldwide. The PCC-only library catalog searches items at Portland Community College and Columbia Gorge Community College (CGCC) libraries.
About PCC WorldCat
- Use this catalog to discover materials at PCC, Summit and libraries worldwide.
- Includes books, journals, media (DVDs, CDs, video), government publications, maps, and more.
- Includes direct links to some articles that the college subscribes to.
- Allows you to request items from many libraries using only one catalog.
- Has the option to create an account to store saved searches, and write reviews.
- Provides the ability to bookmark and share resources using social network tools such as Twitter and Facebook.
- Has an “advanced search” that allows you to refine your search.
Use the PCC-only catalog
- To limit your search to PCC and Columbia Gorge Community College (CGCC)
- To look for items that are on order
- To find equipment (computers, cameras, etc.) to borrow
- To find skeletons, globes and other 3-D objects for study

- Summit items arrive in about 5 days
