About PCC Library Catalogs
PCC provides two library catalogs to help you with your research and schoolwork. PCC WorldCat is a powerful tool that helps you discover materials at PCC, Summit (a consortium of libraries in Washington and Oregon) and libraries worldwide. The PCC only library catalog searches items only at the Portland Community College Library.
About PCC WorldCat
- Use this catalog to discover materials at PCC, Summit and libraries worldwide.
- Includes books, journals, media (DVDs, CDs, video), government publications, maps, and more.
- Includes direct links to some articles that the college subscribes to.
- Allows you to request items from many libraries using only one catalog.
- Has the option to create an account to store saved searches, and write reviews.
- Provides the ability to bookmark and share resources using social network tools such as Twitter and Facebook.
- Has an “advanced search” that allows you to refine your search.
