What is Summit?

Summit is the combined catalog of member libraries of the Orbis Cascade Alliance. These Pacific Northwest academic libraries have joined together to allow easy searching, requesting, and delivery of their more than 22 million items. Visit Summit to find out more.

How to search Summit

Search the PCC library catalog.
If PCC does not have the item, click the "Repeat Search in Summit" button.

Tip: You can also start your search in Summit.

Requesting Summit items

Find the item you want and click "REQUEST THIS ITEM." Enter your last name and PCC account number . Choose a pickup location. Materials can be picked up at PCC or any other Summit library in about three days.

Monitor the status of your request by clicking My Library Record.

Summit borrowing policies

Current credit students,faculty,and staff are eligible to borrow from Summit
Borrowing is free
Most items check out for 21 days with one renewal or 3 days with no renewals (some videos, DVDs)
Fines and lost charges apply to all borrowers. Charges are significantly higher than those assessed by PCC library and are not, under consortia policy, negotiable. Replacement costs include a processing fee.
