Celebrating Pride: Queer Resources at PCC Library

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month (LGBTQ Pride) is celebrated every June. It began as a way to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising, and now is also a nation-wide celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. Want to know more about the history of Pride? This Library of Congress website provides information and historical resources, including a video with documentary footage of the first Pride march in June 1970.

Whether you have questions about LGBTQ topics, are researching the history of the LGBTQ civil rights movement, are looking for information and support, or are interested in reading fiction and memoirs by LGBTQ authors, the PCC library has resources for you.
