Off-campus services
Library services are available to students enrolled in online and distance education courses, and those who don't have easy access to campus libraries.
SE Center students and staff are encouraged to use the online resources described below. Please contact a reference librarian if you have questions, or speak to library staff working in the Tutoring Center in Tabor 123. LIbrary materials can be picked up and returned to SEC Tabor 123. A drop box is located directly across the hall and is available all hours SEC is open.
Online catalogs
Our web-based library catalog lets you request materials and have them sent to your nearest campus library or the Southeast Center, Mt. Tabor Room 123 (call 503-788-6187 for open hours). Many electronic books can be read from home.
Materials can also be found at local public
libraries, and Orbis-Cascade Alliance libraries
(Summit).
Article databases
Off-campus students can read Magazine
Articles Online (EBSCOhost), the Oregonian
and New
York Times, and other article databases (listed
by title and by subject).
