Library Credit Classes

Get ready! A one credit library research skills class begins Spring term 2013.
LIB 101
Library faculty teach a one credit class on doing research using library resources and searching the Internet for relevant and reliable information. Library Research and Beyond engages students in a process of finding, selecting and citing a variety of relevant, credible sources for a research project. Please consider recommending it to your students. Or, partner with a librarian to create a LIB class focused on a specific subject area. Contact Torie Scott (SAC Chair) to discuss this possibility.
LIB 127
Library faculty teach a one credit class called Advanced Library Research. In this class, students taking Biology or Environmental Science classes learn how to refine topics for research projects, choose credible resources, and cite sources. Contact Robin Shapiro, PCC Faculty Librarian, for more information about this class.
