Single Parent: Multiple Scholarship

To apply for this scholarship, you must meet all the criteria for at least one of the scholarships listed below.

Beaverton Woman's Club

One award for $1,250

  • Completed 12 credits at PCC by the end of Winter 2013
  • Female student
  • Resident of Washington County
  • Single mother providing 50% or more of the support for a child under age 18

Pauline Ferguson and Anna Burns Scholarship

One award for $1,900

  • Single mother providing 50% or more of the support for a child under age 18
  • Must demonstrate financial need

CarolAnn Curthoys Scholarship

Two awards for $3,000

  • Single mother providing 50% or more of the support for a child under age 18
  • 3.0 GPA
  • Completed at least 24 PCC credits by the end of winter term 2013
  • Full-time student (12 credits or more per term)

Columbia Pacific Foundation

Two awards for $2,000

  • Enrolled in 9 or more credits each term.
  • Applicants must be single mothers.
  • Preference for applicants enrolled in the Career Technical Education Programs.

Susan Holzworth Scholarship

One award for $1,600

  • Single mother providing 50% or more of the support for a child under age 18
  • 2.5 GPA
  • Completed 12 credits at PCC by the end of winter term 2013
  • Preference given to previous recipients of this scholarship

Doreen Margolin Memorial

Two awards for $1,100

  • 2.5 GPA
  • Completed at least 24 PCC credits by the end of winter term 2013
  • Single mother providing 50% or more of the support for a child under age 18
  • Demonstrates financial need
  • Enrolled in a degree granting program

Wintz Family

Three awards for $2,800

  • Single mother providing 50% or more of the support for a child under age 18
  • Enrolled in a degree-granting program
  • Completed at least 24 PCC credits by the end of Winter 2013
  • 2.5 GPA
  • Must complete at least 9 credits each term
