PCC Veteran Services is here to help veterans use their benefits to support their college expenses. We recognize the sacrifice of those who have served in the United States Armed Forces, and we are honored to assist you in using your benefits to your best advantage.

How to use your veterans educational benefits

  1. Step 1: Apply with the VA

    Complete the Veterans Online Application about six weeks before you want to start classes. If you need help completing the application, we can help!

  2. Step 2: Get admitted to PCC

    After completing the application with the VA, get admitted to PCC and choose your major.

  3. Step 3: Talk to a veterans specialist

    Sit down with one of our veterans specialists to start using your benefits at PCC.

  4. Step 4: Register for classes

    Register for classes qualify for benefits and make sure you are enrolled full time.

  5. Step 5: Submit your schedule

    After you've registered for classes, submit your schedule for certification on the MyPCC Paying for College tab.

  6. Step 6: Protect your classes

    Make sure your classes are paid for so that you don't get dropped from a course.

  7. Step 7: Maintain eligibility

    Learn what you need to do to make sure you keep receiving benefits.

In addition to veterans benefits, veterans can also receive funding through financial aid and scholarships.
