2Futuro Scholarship Sweepstakes

ASHRAE American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, Air-conditioning Engineers
Follow links for the Student Zone. Multiple scholarships available and requirements may vary. Generally, Scholarships are available to undergraduate engineering, engineering technology and graduate students enrolled full-time in a curriculum approved by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) or other accrediting agency recognized by ASHRAE, and the student is pursuing a course of study which traditionally has been a preparatory curriculum for a career in HVAC&R. Big Dig Scholarship
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be a high school senior and entering your first year of college/university. Submit a 1000 word essay by the stated deadline.

Christopher Mesi Memorial Music Scholarship
A musical scholarship for students enrolled in a music degree program at any Oregon or SW Washington college for the 2007 fall term.
Clayfolk
Elice T. Johnston Scholarship for the Ceramic Arts. Two years of college or equivalent art education required. Applicant must be resident of Oregon or Northern California. Additional requirements, such as portfolio are outlined in the application materials.

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute
This premier scholarship opportunity is afforded to Latino students who have a history of performing public service-oriented activities in their communities and who plan to continue contributing in the future. There is no GPA or major requirement. Students with excellent leadership potential are encouraged to apply.
Data Processing Management Assoc./Portland Chapter (DPMA/pc)
This is a locally based group of professionals dedicated to the promotion of the IT industry through legislation, certification, networking and education. The DPMA/Portland Chapter offers at least one $1,000 scholarship each year as part of the education promotion program to graduating high school seniors who enroll in a major directly related to the Information Technology industry at any accredited institution in the state of Oregon or Washington.
 
Equity Foundation Scholarship
Equity Foundation's scholarships are from a wide variety of all parts of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans-gender, queer and questioning (LGBTQQ) community that are committed to assisting college students of all ages fund their tuition and fees.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund
Several different scholarships are offered, please review each for eligibility requirements, deadlines and award amounts.
Hispanic Fund
This site offers information and applications for many scholarships. Application requirements may vary, but the following are universal:
  • Must be in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of no less than a 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Must be starting as a college freshman, sophomore, junior or senior by fall 2004.
  • Must plan to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student (minimum 12 credits per semester).
  • Must be applying to or be enrolled in a college or university in the fifty states or Puerto Rico.
Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber
To provide support and encourage Hispanics to continue their higher education, the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber awards scholarships annually to qualifying applicants.
Home Depot Trade Scholarship Program
The Home Depot Trade Scholarship Program is open to students nationwide currently enrolled in a building and construction trade school program at a college, university, or accredited educational institution who will be entering into the final year or term of their degree or career program.

KATU Thomas R. Dargan Minority Scholarship In the tradition of Thomas R. Dargan, dedicated and lifelong broadcaster, this scholarship is intended to encourage and assist minority students to complete their education in broadcasting or communications.
Leslie S. Parker Memorial Scholarship

Oregon Association of Broadcasters
Scholarship for Oregon resident students who are majoring in Broadcast Journalism, Production, Management, and/or other broadcast-related studies at eligible Oregon institutions.
Oregon Association of Public Accountants
Scholarships are available to high school seniors heading off to college as well as for current college students. Application requirements and materials are available by following the Educational Foundation link.
Oregon Institute of Marine Biology
This scholarship is designed to assist a student who plans to major in marine biology or environmental science to attend a summer term at OIMB. Students who apply must have taken a one year sequence of introductory biology for majors.
Oregon Logging Conference Scholarship Application
Scholarships are available for students in the following areas of study: Forestry, Forest Engineering, Forest Management, and other related areas such as; Welding, CAT-skinning and Diesel Mechanics.
Oregon Medical Education Foundation- Linn-Benton County

Possible Woman Foundation
Possible Woman Foundation International has awarded over $60,000 in academic scholarships to women in need. Our primary target audience is women who are returning to school after a hiatus, changing careers, seeking advancement in their career or work life, and stay-at-home moms entering the workplace and in need of additional education/training. This scholarship is not intended for recent high school graduates or women who are eligible for or who have already received other significant funding. Deadline: February 23.

Sunshine Lady Foundation (Women's Independence Scholarship Program)
SLF believes that education is a powerful tool which breaks down barriers and opens doors of opportunity. The objective of the Women's Independence Scholarship Program is to help survivors of domestic violence obtain an education that will in turn offer them the chance to secure employment, personal independence and self sufficiency. Support is available for full or part-time students interested in attending vocational, community college, four-year degree or graduate studies programs.

Vancouver Restaurant Scholarship
To be eligible for this scholarship you must be between the ages of 15-21 as of the May 30 deadline. You must also be a full time student in either high school or college/university.
Willamette Valley Ag Association Scholarship Stars
