The Entrepreneur Skills Series (ESS)
The ESS program is the premier program for launching-stage entrepreneurs. It is designed to provide entrepreneurs with the information and resources necessary to develop a firm foundation for their first year in business. The ESS is designed to help thinking and launching stage entrepreneurs develop the essential skills for supporting a successful business. Learn the importance of focusing within your field and earn what you are worth as an entrepreneur. While participating in this program, the entrepreneur is: launching their business; learning management essentials; establishing systems to support the emerging company; developing entrepreneurial skills; and creating a business plan worthy of presentation. Getting Your Recipe to Market
A 12-week intensive program designed to provide the food entrepreneur with a solid foundation in business, organizational, and product development, as well as food safety, packaging, production and distribution.
Pre-requisite: program application
Developed by the SBDC, the Food Innovation Center, and New Seasons Market, this program combines the talents of our instructors, business advisors and food professionals to provide a rich learning environment; one that creates a foundation for the entrepreneur. The workshop sessions engage the entrepreneurs in considering the complexity and inter-relationship between business planning, product development, and launching of your product so that you produce, promote and profit from your recipe/food concept as a food entrepreneur.
