Course Description

Examines principles and practices of effective leadership. Explores strategies for developing organizational visions, communicating with clear meaning, developing trust through collaboration, creating the learning organization, and sharing leadership through empowerment. Audit available.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Apply essential leadership strategies and attitudes promoting effectiveness in a diverse work environment.

Employ effective leadership techniques for motivating individuals and teams to maximize productivity in the workplace.

Develop a self leadership strategic plan identifying problems, solutions, and opportunities that lead to achievable actions.

Evaluate effective leadership strategies to help employees determine appropriate decision making techniques that support problem solving that leads to successful resolution.
