Course Description

Advanced study of denture construction including alternative occlusal patterns and materials.

Addendum to Course Description

The student will also be introduced to endosteal implants and obturators.

 

Intended Outcomes for the course

1. Articulate alternate methods of denture designs
2. List alternate denture designs and patterns of occlusion.
3. Articulate general knowledge of implant dentures and soft liners.

Outcome Assessment Strategies

Determined by interim written examination, lecture attendance, presentation, participation and successful completion of assignments and projects as assigned. Student will also receive a comprehensive final examination.
