Course Description
Students participate with various public sector criminal justice agencies to learn about their structure and function. The field placement must be program-related. Department permission required prior to registration. Prerequisite: CJA 100 and (CJA 111 or CJA 113).Addendum to Course Description
This course is designed to provide students with an opportunity to practice their skills at a work site related to criminal justice. This experience may be paid or non-paid. Students will be trained, supervised and evaluated. Work experience will give students the opportunity to apply classroom coursework to a given Criminal Justice field and may be added to a resume as an indication of having had experience in the field.ASSESSMENT:
Assessment of the student's cooperative work experience will be provided by the employer on the Employer Evaluation form.
