Course Description

Covers preparation for an entry-level position as a systems administrator for a network utilizing Microsoft Exchange Server for email administration. Focuses on the knowledge and skills necessary to design, install, configure and manage a Microsoft Exchange Server email system. Prerequisites: CIS 240M or instructor permission.

Intended Outcomes for the course

Upon successful completion students should be able to:

1. Install & configure Exchange Server
2. Manage exchange databases and transaction logs
3. Monitor, troubleshoot, back up and recover Exchange Server

This course is presented by means of:

Students will be required to use essential tools to complete the lab
assignments.
