Course Description
Basic Counseling and Addiction Introduces basic skills required for establishing an effective professional helping relationship. Emphasizes in-class practice and feedback. Prerequisite: AD 101. Prerequisite/concurrent: WR 122.Intended Outcomes for the course
1) Respond to client behavior, content, feelings, and meaning using accurate empathy in order to facilitate interpersonal communication
