| Description: | The study of labor markets with emphasis on the economic status of women and their decisions about work and family. Topics of study include: recent developments in the labor market; the gender pay gap and women-men occupational differences; labor supply decisions; human capital theory; racial discrimination; economics of marriage and household decisions. Recommended: MTH 95. Prerequisites: WR 115, RD 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement test scores. Audit available. |
