Vocational ESL Trainings: Recruitment Schedule
2011-12 Upcoming Training and Recruitment Schedule
There are currently six VESL PCC offerings scheduled. Please click on the training title for more detailed information.
Interested students should attend an information session. The process for admission for each training involves an application and interview.
Credit Trainings: The Computer Applications for Speakers of Other Languages (CASOL) training requires students to either be attending or to test into Level 5 or 6 ESOL through the College placement testing process. The VESL Retail Sales and Service and VESL Entry Level Accounting Clerk (VELAC) training requires students to either be attending or to test into Level 6 or higher ESOL through the College placement testing process.
Non-Credit VESL Trainings: Career Pathways training staff will provide a CASAS language assessment.
- Health Care
- The next training is Spring Term 2012 and runs April 2, 2012 - June 22, 2012; Job Search 8 weeks following the last day of class** Interested applicants must attend one of the following information sessions:
- VESL Retail Sales and Service
- This is a new Pathway for English Language Learners. Students have the opportunity to earn credits and a certificate from the College. The next training is scheduled for Spring Term 2012.
