Programming

What is it?

The time is coming when we can talk to our computers in our own language and they will know exactly what we mean! But until then, we have to learn their language – languages with names like C#, Java, Visual Basic and C++. This is what it means to master programming: becoming fluent in a computer language that explains what functions you want your computer to perform and in what order.

Is it right for you?

Programming is for those who are patient and diligent – but who love a challenge. The simple fact is, computer infrastructure is of little use without good programs to run it. If you enjoy word games, logic puzzles and creating something new, you're likely to enjoy software development.
