Intel partners with CLIMB to help its world-wide workforce speak the same language
In order to improve its ability to deliver workplace-based English as a Second Language (ESL) training to its workforce worldwide, Intel Training Managers in the U.S., Costa Rica, Malaysia, China, the Philippines, and Israel selected CLIMB after conducting a worldwide competitive bidding process. During the course of this multi-year project, CLIMB developed a customized English Proficiency Scale, placement assessment tool and five Intel-specific technical ESL courses (now part of Intel University) for Intel Maintenance Technicians worldwide.
In the course of this project, CLIMB scored more than 1,000 Maintenance Technician and Admin assessments from Intel sites worldwide and delivered on-site training orientation workshops for Intel’s overseas ESL vendors.
