CLIMB for Health Professionals, in partnership with the Portland Community College Dental Department, is pleased to announce that the Oregon Board of Dentistry has approved Dental Restorative Training for Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants..

This 64-hour continuing education course is specifically for Oregon Licensed Dental Hygienists and Dental Assistants Certified in Expanded Functions. Graduates of the program who complete all components successfully will be elgible to take the WREB examination in order to obtain State Certification in Restorative Dental Practices. This continuing education program will give students a more competitive edge in the dental industry. The program meets all the requiments as set forth for continuing education in dental restorative function practices.

This new program will run in December. The course will be held at the Portland Community College Dental Department in the Health Building on the Sylvania campus.  The course begins December 10th.  It will run December the 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19th from 8 - 5 pm.

After completion you will be eligible to take the WREB state certification examination. To find out more about sites and dates for WREB examinations you can visit www.wreb.org.
