Important information for applicants
Students who are applying for entry into a health care profession where practicum and/or field training is required for certification or licensure, need to be advised that they may have to pass Criminal History Checks (CHC) as a condition of their acceptance into a medical, dental or community facility.
It is the full responsibility of the applicant to notify their program department should any contact information change (i.e. phone number, address, email). Failure to comply with this requirement may prevent admission.
Information Sessions
The Sylvania Health Admissions Office will not be offering information sessions during our busy application season (February – March). The information session schedule for Spring term will be posted in late March. If you are interested in more information about the Nursing, Radiography, Dental Assisting, Dental Hygiene or Dental Laboratory Technology programs, please visit the program websites and download an advising guide or contact the Health Admissions Office at 971-722-4795 if you have specific questions.
At these sessions you will learn about program requirements, selection criteria, application procedures, deadlines, as well as strategies to improve your admission prospects. The sessions last approximately one hour, including a 30 minute Q&A session. (Note: Presenters are no longer available to meet with students one-on-one following the presentation. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and information for scheduling academic advising will be provided.) They are not required in order to apply to PCC’s allied health programs.
For maps and campus information, see Class Locations.
