Who will receive a tobacco citation?
Those found in violation of the tobacco-free policy rules will be issued a verbal warning or a citation and a fine. Officers will use discretion and take into consideration the totality of the circumstances when applying this policy.
How do I pay my fine?
Fines are posted to your student account and must be paid within 21 calendar days. You can pay your fine in person at any Student Account Services or you can mail it. Mailed fines must be received within 21 calendar days. Make payable to Portland Community College and mail to:

Can I appeal my tobacco citation?
You can appeal a citation within 21 calendar days of receiving the citation – late appeals will not be accepted. Fill out the appeal form below and the Director of Public Safety may dismiss, suspend, or impose a lesser fine. Allow two weeks to be notified of the appeals decision. You will be notified of the decision by email.
