Reproduction of Audio/Visual Materials (Non Television)
Restrictions are very stringent at this time. The following are given and cover only the most basic information:
- The right of production does not extend to or apply to musical works, pictorial, graphic or sculptured works, motion pictures or other audio/visual works.
- Out of print tapes or records, if unobtainable from other sources at a fair price, can be copied.
Absolute prohibitions when reproducing audio/visual materials (non television):
- Film is restricted to face to face projection use only. No duplication or transmission by television is allowed.
- Audio Recording - No copies may be made even to save an original master except by permission.
- Transparencies - by permission only.
- Filmstrips - by permission only.
- Slides from books, film, or filmstrips - by permission only.
