Where Will I Stay?
Students live in a twin room in a homestay within a residential neighborhood of London in the inner 3 zones of the London transport system.
Tuition
Oregon residents pay the regular PCC tuition fee for London courses. Students who do not qualify as residents pay non-resident tuition, as they would at their local community college. Students who are on financial aid please see a financial aid advisor directly regarding funding for study abroad programs. You may want to download a copy of the London Cost Breakdown Sheet before seeing your financial aid advisor.
Program Fee: $6,525.00*
- accommodation in a twin room in a homestay within a residential neighborhood of London in the inner 3 zones of the London transport system. Continental breakfast provided in the homestay 5 days a week, and students have access to the kitchen for preparation of other meals.
- London Transport travel pass valid for unlimited use on buses and underground trains in travel zones 1-3 for the duration of the program.
- Orientation program and welcome reception.
- British Life and Culture course with weekly lectures and local field trips
- half-day guided sightseeing tour of London by private coach.
- two full day trips to Oxford and to Stonehenge/Salisbury
- three theater performances, one soccer match, and a walking tour.
- membership at the University of London Union giving access to Union clubs and societies, low cost student cafeterias and, at an additional cost, sports facilities.
- AIFS coordinators, on-site computer facilities and free access to e-mail and Internet facilities.

FINANCIAL AID STUDENTS
**PLEASE NOTE!! Payment of the below mentioned expenses are required BEFORE spring term financial aid is dispersed in April. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FINANCIAL AID STUDENT TO DETERMINE HOW TO PAY REQUIRED PROGRAM DEPOSITS & FEES by February 8th, 2012. You may use American Express, Master Card, or Visa in addition to checks. (See application form.) The remainder of program fees and PCC tuition will be due upon financial aid disbursement in April.
- Financial Aid students are required to pay both a $600 program reservation deposit and the $250 refundable damage deposit, in addition to any remaining program fee balance that will not be covered by financial aid, by February 8th, 2012.
- Financial Aid Students are ALSO responsible for paying any optional program upgrades, including the group transportation package (airfare ($595.00) and fuel surcharges ($578.00), Scotland Tour ($545.00), meal voucher ($350.00) personal effects coverage ($90.00) and the medical insurance upgrade ($65.00) by February 8th, 2012.

Program fees do NOT include the following:
- Tuition fees to PCC
- Roundtrip transatlantic flight (Portland to London to Portland) on the program dates specified including mandatory airline and U.S. government-imposed departure taxes and fees.
- Textbooks
- Passport and visa fees if applicable
- Field trips or excursions required by your instructors
- Local or independent travel while in London
- Personal expenses such as laundry, groceries, entertainment, etc.
- Optional baggage insurance and medical insurance upgrade
