Summer Study Program in Grecia, Costa Rica
This is a 4-week, biology and Spanish language-focused study abroad opportunity in Grecia, Costa Rica. Study Spanish at an immersion school, live with Costa Rican host family, and travel around the country to learn about and compare the ecological systems of three unique biozones (aquatic lowland, tropical, and mountain cloud forest). Earn 8 units of lower division, transferable college credit.

Requirements:
This program is open to students:
- who are over the age of 18
- who have earned at least 12 college units
- who have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- who have fulfilled the standard prerequisites of reading, writing, and mathematics for enrolling in general education courses at PCC
- who have completed one term of college level Spanish (SPA 101 or 150), or the equivalent, prior to program departure
