Costs

We strongly encourage students to carefully review the cost breakdown budget sheets of each program before submitting an program application. It is important to carefully consider the factor of affordability when selecting a study abroad program. The programs offered by PCC Study Abroad vary in cost, depending upon:

  • the type of program
  • the geographic location
  • the program length
  • inclusion of cultural activities and excursions
  • the level of on-site support.

Financial Aid

The PCC Study Abroad Office and the Office of Financial Aid collaborate to help students understand what options are available to make studying abroad a reality. Students interested in utilizing financial aid, seeking out scholarship resources, or finding creative ways to fund their study abroad experience should first set up a general study abroad advising appointment to obtain basic information typical study abroad funding options. Following this general study abroad information session, students may be referred to a financial aid advisor who can further determine what specific financial options are available to a student. Most forms of financial aid that PCC students receive may be applied to the cost of PCC sponsored study abroad programs.
