Housing

Housing will be arranged by the program provider, Barcelona SAE. Housing options include homestays, which are recommended as they include two meals per day, laundry service, and the opportunity for greater language and cultural immersion. Students may also choose the option of living in an apartment with other U.S. or international students studying in Barcelona.

International Airfare and Airport Transportation

Students are responsible for booking and paying for round-trip international airfare costs and airport transportation.

International Health and Travel Insurance

All students who participate in this program are provided with international health and travel accident insurance for the duration of the program; the cost of the insurance is included in the program fee.

Local Transportation

Students are responsible for providing and paying for the cost of local transportation needs (public transportation and taxis).

Program Activites and Services

Barcelona SAE provides housing, on-site orientation, and 24-hour emergency support, as well as a welcome and farewell dinner, weekly cultural activities, and 2 day trips to areas of interest outside Barcelona for program participants. The Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) International Mobility Program offers student support services through the Mobility and Welcome Office (OMA) and a program Exchange Coordinator.
