What is the Institute on Infusing Asian Studies into the Undergraduate Curriculum?

The interdisciplinary Institute program in Honolulu, Hawaii features lectures and discussion on the culture, history, and contemporary complexion of the Asian region, and works with participants in developing strategies to build Asian studies on their home campuses.

What does PCC provide if I am selected?

If you are selected for this opportunity by the East West Center, the Office of International Education will provide round trip travel to Honolulu and pay for the program fee of $350. PT or FT community college faculty and administrators are encouraged to apply.

Who is eligible?

Designed for faculty in primarily undergraduate institutions who seek high quality opportunities for faculty development to expand their intellectual and pedagogical horizons beyond their academic training.
