ITV Troubleshooting

If the ITV classroom is locked:
ITV classrooms are kept locked for security purposes. You will receive room access instructions on the first day of class. If you need more assistance, call Public Safety at ext 4902 and ask them to open the door to the ITV classroom. WCWTC and CPWTC students may ask for assistance at the front desk in the main lobby.
If you have difficulty turning on the system:
Contact the ITV Helpline at 503-977-4990 for technical assistance. A telephone is available in every classroom.
If the equipment is not operating properly:
Contact the ITV Helpline at 503-977-4990 for technical assistance. A telephone is available in every classroom.
If materials don’t arrive as scheduled:
It may take 3—5 days to receive mail via the intercampus mail system. US mail may take longer. Check all of the ITV mailboxes at your site as directed during your orientation. Sometimes mail at your campus has not been delivered to your classroom because it has been left in the official campus ITV Mail drop off location. You will be shown where the drop off box is during your orientation. Each classroom has a FAX machine available for students and instructors to exchange materials. Contact the ITV Coordinator at 977-8585 for more assistance in locating missing materials.
If technical difficulties prevent a live broadcast to your site:
Every ITV class is videotaped and made available for students to check out at the Sylvania Library. If technical problems impair your ITV class, notify the ITV Coordinator and file a Discrepancy Report. We will make arrangements to correct the problem and provide you with a tape of the class.
