Edit your course information page

A Course Information Page (CIP) is a secondary page tied to the PCC schedule that gives students detailed information about the requirements for the course. You need to give students details about the textbook(s) used in the course, any additional or required software or technical requirements the course may have that is not communicated in the catalog. Only the primary instructor can modify the course information page.

  • Who is this for: Online Instructors
  • What is required: A credit course being offered under the WEB designation and a MyPCC account

Steps

  1. Log in to MyPCC
  2. Click on the Faculty tab
  3. Locate the Tools channel on the right side of the screen
  4. Click on the Edit Distance CIP link
  5. Select the course you want to edit
  6. Be sure to include
    1. textbook information
    2. additional required software
    3. additional testing or on-campus requirements
    4. anything additional to the catalog description a student would need for your course
  7. Optional but recommended to include
    1. a brief instructor introduction
    2. course outcomes
  8. Click on the Save button
